Where Are You Starting?

  • Are you currently living in an RHP rental and interested in becoming a homeowner?

    RHP wants our affordable rental properties to provide more than a place to live. For residents who are interested in homeownership, we can help you explore opportunities to prepare for and transition into owning a home.

    Your pathway may include homeownership readiness, connections to financial resources, mortgage qualification, partner programs, or the opportunity to purchase an affordable home built by RHP when homes are available.

  • You do not have to rent from RHP to start your pathway with us.

    If you currently rent from another landlord but would like to become a homeowner, RHP can help you explore your options.

    You may be interested in purchasing an affordable home built by RHP or you may qualify for another homeownership program in our community. We'll help identify potential resources and connect you with organizations that can help you take the next step.

  • Affordable homeownership opportunities are available through several organizations and programs, and figuring out where to apply can be confusing.

    RHP can help connect you with homeownership opportunities through Rutherford Housing Partnership, Gateway Wellness Foundation, Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity, and other community resources based on your needs and the programs currently available.

When appropriate, we'll connect you with an RHP opportunity, a participating lender, Gateway Wellness Foundation, Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity, or another community resource.
