NCHFA URP26 Funding for Urgent Home Repairs

Rutherford Housing Partnership received funding through the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) under the Urgent Repair Program (URP26) to address critical housing needs for low-income homeowners in Rutherford County.

This funding supports essential home repairs that directly impact the health, safety, and accessibility of residents. Eligible repairs include, but are not limited to, roof replacement, electrical and plumbing system repairs, HVAC restoration, and accessibility modifications for elderly or disabled homeowners.

Through URP26, RHP prioritizes households with the greatest need, particularly seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families living in substandard housing conditions. The program enables RHP to respond quickly to urgent situations that, if left unaddressed, could lead to displacement or further deterioration of the home.

By leveraging NCHFA funding, RHP continues its mission to preserve safe, stable housing and improve quality of life for vulnerable residents in the community.
